Beaver Scouts

From our centre we offer a number of activities independently run by various organisations 
Scroll down to see what activities we have now, you will find more about them, when they take place and who to contact.

If there are additional activities who would like to use our community centre let us know and if there is enough interest, we'll see if anyone is available to set this up.

Beaver Scouts

For the younger members age 6 and 7 Beaver Scouts offers excitement and adventure.

The programme offers a variety of activities in the areas of fitness, global awareness and beliefs whilst allowing them to be creative and get involved in their local communities. Beaver Scouts are introduced to many new activities, as well as days out.

We are a group of boys and girls who come together on Tuesday evenings from 5.15-6.15pm to enjoy Scouting activities.

Cub Scouts

For ages 8 to 11 Cub Scouts offers excitement and adventure. Their programme offers a huge variety of activities surrounding areas of fitness, global awareness and beliefs whilst allowing them to be creative and get involved in their local communities. Cubs are introduced to exciting outdoor skills and take part in adventurous activities, as well as camps and residential experiences.

We are a group of boys and girls who come together on Tuesday evenings from 6.30-7.30pm to enjoy Scouting activities.

Fancy giving some of your spare time to helping this worthy organisation, we are on the look out for new leaders to help run the group to keep it going for future generations. Please think hard we do need helpers. Please use the email below.

The Deborah Coultish School of Dance

The Dance school is open on Wednesday and Thursday Evenings and all day Saturday.

A friendly fun dance school offering expert tuition in ballet, modern, musical theatre, cheerleading and commercial dance.  

Children taught from age 2 upwards.

OTHER CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
East Ardsley in Bloom Group

East Ardsley in Bloom is responsible for maintaining floral beds around the village some with permanent planting others with annuals. In addition we look after numerous troughs and planters, along with our area at the Community Centre.

We have planted spring flowering bulbs to give Spring a welcome in the village.

On a less glamorous note we litter pick, leaf clear to keep the area nice to look at.

Keep Fit for over 55's

Keep fit for the over 55's meet every Wednesday in the community Centre at 1.30 till 2.30 costs varies depending number people who attend but never more than £5.

We work out on chairs sitting and standing up, stretch our arms and legs and have a bit of fun too plus the and biscuits and yes it's run by Leeds council keep fit team.

Luncheon Club restarted in 2022 start date 9th March end after 20months is still going strong. If you are over 55 and fancy a bit of like minded company for £6 you can get a 2 course meal, tea/coffee and for a small fee a couple of games of bingo to finish.
